What this site processes when you remove a background, and for how long.
This policy explains how Remove Background Free processes data when you use background-remover-free.com.
1. Data we process
- Uploaded image files: used only to provide the background removal result.
- Processing metadata: technical status data (a random job ID, timestamps, image dimensions) used to complete your request.
- Quality feedback: the optional yes or no vote and optional note, stored so a person can review problem cases. Your images are not used to train any model.
- Cookie preference: remembers consent choices.
2. Retention
- Your upload and the result are deleted within 30 minutes.
- You can delete both immediately with the delete button on the result page.
- Cleanup runs automatically, without any action from you.
3. Analytics and advertising
- We use Google Tag Manager for analytics and Google AdSense for ads.
- Neither script loads until you press Accept in the cookie bar. If you press Decline, or ignore the bar, no analytics or advertising script runs at all.
- Once loaded, these services may use cookies or similar identifiers.
- Google may use ad cookies to personalize or measure advertising. See Google advertising technologies.
4. User rights
- You may delete the files of an active job at any time with the delete button, or by contacting support.
- You may contact us to request information about your data processing where applicable by law.
5. Security
We apply reasonable technical controls to protect service integrity, including upload validation, bounded worker processing, and automatic cleanup routines.
